Breakfast & Lunch Lead Cook - The Huntōn

    About the
    Role:
    • As the Breakfast & Lunch Lead , you will oversee morning prep, coordinate breakfast execution for hotel guests and local diners, and lead a small team through a fast-paced, elevated lunch service.
    You'll be responsible for ensuring a clean, organized kitchen, managing service flow, and maintaining high standards from the first ticket to the last plate. This is a leadership role for someone who can both cook and coordinate — someone who thrives in early hours, sets the tone for the day, and brings calm, focused energy to the kitchen.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead execution of breakfast and lunch service with consistency and urgency Manage morning prep and station setup for your team and the PM brigade Maintain clear communication with BOH and FOH to ensure seamless service Monitor food quality, portioning, presentation, and timing on the line Assist with menu execution, special requests, and occasional brunch service Enforce health and safety standards, cleaning procedures, and prep organization Train and mentor junior cooks and ensure accountability during day shifts
    Requirements:
    • 2-3 years of line or lead cook experience, preferably in upscale or fine dining Strong knowledge of breakfast and lunch execution (eggs, griddle, sauté, etc.
    ) Solid prep and time management skills with the ability to multitask under pressure Must have a VA Food Manager's Certification or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire Excellent knife skills, station organization, and cleanliness Availability for early mornings, weekends, and holidays Reliable transportation to
