In this role, you will direct, evaluate, and monitor departmental staff while ensuring high-quality food service and compliance with all regulations. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations of the dietary department Manage food service staff, including scheduling, hiring, and performance management Conduct probationary and annual evaluations, including disciplinary actions as needed Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus and approved substitutions Ensure food is prepared following standardized recipes and special diet orders Review resident care plans to ensure dietary needs are met Provide nutrition support with guidance from a Registered Dietitian Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support overall facility operations Qualifications Previous long-term care experience preferred Prior management or supervisory experience preferred
