Job Description
The Doubletree by Hilton Burlington is Vermont's largest hotel & conference center. Known as a premier location for meetings, events and travelers the Doubletree offers guests a quality experience when visiting Vermont. The hotel has completed a $16 million dollar renovation to include all 30,000 sq ft of event space, guest rooms, public areas and more! This is a unique opportunity to join a growing and seasoned hospitality team. Director of Banquets This position works in all aspects of F&B and between Banquets and on-site restaurant.
- Administer required training and development of the food & beverage team.
- Operate the food & beverage area utilizing Brand Standards & AAM 15 Management best practices.
- Works closely with Event Managers in the preparation for conferences & catering events.
- Create and maintain optimal staffing levels to deliver outstanding service during breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- Stays abreast of emerging food & beverage trends & implement those that would benefit the hotel.
- Consistently enforce all hotel policy regarding employee attendance, appearance standards & service standards.
- Ensure responsible alcoholic beverage service is practiced at all times. Strictly adhere to all local & state regulations regarding food & alcohol service.
- You will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
- We want you to know how to oversee the dining room, check-in with customers and balance seating capacity.
- Bachelor degree in business, hospitality or related field
- Skilled in conference and event execution for groups of 500 plus
