Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity to join ourclient's team in Burlington, Vermont as a Operations/Shop Supervisor. In this role, you will aid in the supervision of a group of technicians with the planning of overall activities, supervision, and coordinate work with other departments to meet schedules and work efficiently. The Burlington Operations/Shop Supervisor will assist employees to ensure they are properly trained for their assignments, and that their training records are updated. You will be responsible for all EH&S/CORE/Quality/ITC activities and will perform a variety of technical duties and administrative duties in support of the Operations Manager while serving as the liaison with the company and it's Customers This position will be on our 2nd shift, which is Sunday-Wednesday from 3:30pm-1:30a m. You will train on our 1st shift for up to 6 months before moving into the 2nd shi ft. Key Responsibili tiesProvide supervision of a group of technicians assigned to the BTV Service Cen ter.

Establish daily? weekly and monthly objectives and communicate them to employ ees.

Manage the workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedu les.

Guide and coach employees? monitoring their productiv ity.

Oversee safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintena nce.

Identify efficiency issues and suggest improveme nts.

Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and company standa rds.

Responsible for all EH&S/CORE/Quality/ITC activities within the a rea.

Assist employees to ensure they are properly trained for their assignments and training records are upda ted.

Assist HR in the administration of the FAA Anti-Drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Prog ram.

Assist with the planning of overall activities and coordination of work with other departments to meet RSCN go als.

Assist with administrative duties to support Ops Mana ger.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5+ years' experience as an A&P Technician with knowledge of operational practices, or an Associate's Degree with minimum of 8 years of relevant exper ienceFAA Airframe and Powerplant Certif icatePrevious experience working with or leading cross functional teamsStrong problem solving skills and a proven ability to develop creative solutions to both simple and difficult prob lems.
Qualifications We P refer:
Previous experience as a supervisor, shift lead, or other position leading a teamMust be self-motivated, and high-energy with the initiative to direct and lead.

Strong communication skills and a proven ability to communicate with all levels of manag ement.

Previous technical experience with aircraft engine pro ducts.

Proficient in SAP, MS Office, CORE tools.

Previous experience in aviation aftermarket su pport.
