Kitchen Lead

The Ottauquechee Yacht Club is a well known bar, live music venue and fast casual restaurant with a strong local and weekend following year round. The Food component of our business has grown rapidly. We are seeking an individual with strong organizational and communication skills who would like to bring their personality to our establishment to help with the daily operations of the kitchen.

Responsibilities will include:

• Cooking and preparing food
• Customer interaction
• Weekly ordering and inventory
• Menu design and menu specials
• Ensuring proper opening and closing procedures are followed
• Communicating information with coworkers We are open at 3 pm during the week and Noon on Saturday and Sunday.

This position will entail a 4-5 day work week, full time hours. We are a professional, detail oriented team of employees with a good sense of humor and a strong work ethic. We pride ourselves on providing a supportive and upbeat environment with no drama. The owners are well versed in all aspects of FOH and BOH operations, we do not ask our employees to do anything we would not do. This is a financially lucrative position with room for growth.
