Prep/Catering Lead

Prep & Catering Lead for Inland Northwest Catering Inland Northwest Catering is looking for a dependable, motivated, and experienced Prep & Catering Lead to join our growing team! This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment, enjoys event work, and takes pride in organization, leadership, and quality food preparation. This role combines kitchen prep responsibilities with onsite and offsite catering execution and event leadership. Responsibilities Prepare menu items according to recipes and production standards Assist with organizing and executing catered events Lead catering setups and oversee event service staff onsite Ensure food quality, presentation, and sanitation standards are maintained Coordinate loading and unloading of catering equipment and food Assist with inventory, kitchen organization, and event preparation Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management Help ensure events run smoothly from preparation through completion Qualifications Previous kitchen prep, catering, banquet, or food service experience preferred Strong organizational and leadership skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Professional attitude and strong work ethic Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Flexible scheduling Fun and team-oriented environment Opportunities for growth within the company Variety of exciting events and venues Pay $18-$25/hour DOE To apply, please send your resume and availability to mac@inwcatering.com.
