Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Lead to oversee daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The Kitchen Lead will be responsible for ensuring food quality, safety, and efficiency while leading and training culinary staff. Duties Lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to food safety standards Supervise and train kitchen staff on food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety protocols Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste Oversee food production to maintain high quality and consistency across all menu items Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling Monitor shift performance, manage labor costs, and ensure timely service during busy hours Enforce sanitation standards, conduct safety inspections, and uphold health regulations Assist with menu planning, recipe development, and catering or banquet food preparation when needed Support team development through interviewing, onboarding, training & development initiatives Handle customer service issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any concerns efficiently Experience Proven management experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a focus on kitchen operations Extensive culinary experience with skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety management Demonstrated supervisory experience supervising hospitality teams or managing restaurant staff Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling Experience in inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food cost management Background in fine dining or casual dining settings; banquet or catering experience is a plus Strong leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster a positive team environment Knowledge of food industry standards including HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) protocols Previous hotel or hospitality management experience is advantageous but not required Join us as our Kitchen Lead to inspire your team, elevate our culinary offerings, and create memorable dining experiences that keep guests coming back!

$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
