Job Description
A seasonal, full-time Culinary Event Lead role in Woodinville, WA is available at Chateau Ste. Michelle. As a Culinary Event Lead, you will be responsible for executing the culinary details of events. This role will provide exceptional communication with the Executive Chef and kitchen staff to ensure all culinary tasks for events are planned efficiently to ensure quality guest experience.
This is a seasonal, full-time hourly role that is eligible for tips. This seasonal opportunity generally runs from May through October, depending on business needs. This role requires availability in the evenings and on weekends to support our Summer Concert Series.

Culinary Event Lead job responsibilities include:
Oversee culinary aspects of events, including food preparation, staff management, quality control, and execution.
Manage catering staff during events and coordinate food delivery timing with front of house management.
Prioritize and manage multiple tasks/events simultaneously in various locations on campus.
Effectively communicate with Executive Chef, kitchen staff, and service staff to ensure clear expectations and smooth event execution.
Ensure the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards.
Maintain clean and orderly coolers, walk-ins, and dry storage areas.
Comply with, and enforce, sanitation regulations and safety standards.
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
Stand, walk for extended periods of time.
Food Handler's Permit required.
Five (5) or more years of experience in culinary and/or catering, with understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Strong leadership skills and experience with food preparation techniques in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to provide accurate and quick solutions when handling emergency situations.
History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.

Physical Requirements:
Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Stand, walk for extended periods of time.
Position Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or over with a high school diploma or equivalent.Food Handler's Permit required.
Five (5) or more years of experience in culinary and/or catering, with understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Strong leadership skills and experience with food preparation techniques in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to provide accurate and quick solutions when handling emergency situations.
History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.
Your Compensation:
