This role focuses on coaching, mentoring, and inspiring the retail team to ensure guests receive a memorable and elevated experience from beginning to end. The Team Leader will help meet overall salon & spa benchmarks by overseeing key aspects of daily operations, focusing on staff development, retail success, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct store operations including guest check-in and check-out, appointment scheduling, payment processing, and opening/closing store procedures Act as frontline leader, setting the tone for exceptional guest service and high performance at the retail desk Assist in scheduling, onboarding, training and mentoring new hires to ensure a consistent guest experience Lead and coach non-technical team members to support their growth and elevate overall team performance Drive retail performance by setting, tracking, and achieving individual and team sales goals Maintain strong product knowledge across Aveda and Ultraceuticals products to support team education and guest recommendations Conduct regular performance assessments for non-technical team members, offering constructive feedback and development opportunities through 10/10s. Ensure concierge services and Aveda rituals are consistently delivered, maintaining guest amenities, and building strong guest relationships by addressing feedback and concerns. Facilitate Aveda Advisor Team meetings, both in-person and virtually, to keep communication and training on track. Other duties assigned by leadership
Qualifications:
2 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role Experience in a salon and spa setting Previous retail management experience Strong leadership and communication skills, with a passion for guest service.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
