Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Food Service Supervisor to lead our bustling food service operations. In this role, you will oversee daily restaurant activities, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and maintain high standards of food safety and quality. Your leadership will drive team performance, streamline food production, and uphold operational excellence in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage diverse food service functions, from kitchen management to customer service, while fostering a positive and efficient workplace culture. Responsibilities Supervise daily food service operations, ensuring smooth shift transitions and efficient workflow. Lead and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and development initiatives to enhance team performance. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to meet quality standards and safety regulations. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Ensure compliance with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and health regulations across all areas of service. Coordinate with kitchen staff on food production, catering events, banquets, and special functions to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction. Assist in hiring, interviewing, and onboarding new team members to build a skilled workforce. Support budgeting efforts by monitoring costs and optimizing resource utilization. Maintain a clean, organized work environment aligned with hospitality management best practices. Experience Proven supervising experience within a quick service or fast food restaurant environment. Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management with culinary expertise preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for cash handling and sales processing. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and health regulations. Experience in hospitality management including staff training, team management, and customer service excellence. Demonstrated ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and operational efficiency. Previous roles involving restaurant management or assistant management in casual dining or hotel settings are highly desirable. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster a positive team environment.
