Job Description

Kitchen Supervisor- PM Oak Barrel Public House - 1.0 Milwaukee, WI Job Details Full-time $20 - $24 an hour 13 hours ago Qualifications Shift management FIFO Cleaning Crew management Kitchen stations Full Job Description Job description: Who's on Layton is a high-energy sports bar near Mitchell International, part of the Cream City Concepts family — packed houses, big screens, cold beer, and food that has to land every time. We're hiring a working Kitchen Supervisor, and we're open to two kinds of people: The proven lead who's run a busy kitchen and wants a real crew, a clear standard, and a company that values them. The dependable cook who's the backbone of their line and ready to step into their first leadership role. If you cook with pride and show up for your team, we'll meet you where you are and back you with real training and a path forward. Cream City Concepts is growing — and we promote the people who run a tight kitchen. This is a hands-on, working-lead role. You're on a station with your crew, not behind a desk. What you'll do: Open the kitchen to standard — equipment up, stations set, prep assigned, ready before the doors are. Run the line through dinner and late-night — work a station, jump in where it's busy, and keep tickets moving and times tight. Lead the crew — assign prep, set the pace, and coach in the moment. We'll help you grow into this if you're newer to leading. Hold the standard — quality, presentation, and timing on every plate. FIFO, labeling, temp logs, and a clean station, every shift. Keep it stocked and safe — watch prep levels, flag shortages early, check in deliveries, and report equipment or safety issues right away. What we're looking for: Real kitchen experience — whether that's time as a supervisor OR as a strong, dependable line/prep cook ready for more. Solid on the line — you can cook the menu and help any station when it gets busy. Dependable, organized, and good with people — calm under pressure, steady with a team. A working understanding of food safety and sanitation (we'll train and certify the rest). Reliable and on time, including some early opening shifts. Legally authorized to work in the U.S. Not sure you check every box? If you're reliable, coachable, and you take pride in your food, apply anyway — we'd rather meet you. The work is physical — standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
What you get:
Competitive hourly pay based on experience. Hands-on training and a real path to grow inside a Milwaukee hospitality group that's expanding.
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Work Location:
In person
