1st Shift Supervisor Job Description We are seeking an experienced 1st Shift Supervisor to join our dynamic team in a food manufacturing facility. The schedule is from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. Some flexibility is required based on business needs, especially during the busy holiday season. Additional hours may be necessary to meet production demands. Responsibilities Supervise a team within a food manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient operation of production lines. Train employees on quality and production standards. Implement and maintain continuous improvement processes. Ensure compliance with quality standards and follow SOPs. Utilize Microsoft programs for reporting and documentation. Maintain quality assurance and control in food production and packaging. Essential Skills 5+ years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing facility. Experience with training and developing employees. Proficiency in continuous improvement techniques and implementing quality standards. Familiarity with Microsoft programs. Experience in following SOPs. SQF and HACCP certifications are a plus. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with HACCP and SQF protocols. Familiarity with OSHA standards. Experience in production management and quality control. Ability to oversee the operation of production lines in a food and beverage manufacturing environment. Work Environment The role is based in a bakery environment within a food manufacturing facility, equipped with multiple production lines. Each line produces different products according to daily order demands. The facility includes large mixers and ovens. Machinery often requires disassembly and hand washing, presenting challenges for the sanitation team. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr. This is a direct placement position. Benefits will be provided by client upon start of assignment or sooner if requested by consultant. Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Mount Pleasant,WI.
