Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Restaurant Floor Supervisor to lead our dynamic dining team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain a lively, efficient atmosphere. Your leadership will inspire staff, uphold food safety standards, and deliver memorable dining experiences that keep guests coming back. Responsibilities Supervise front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service flow during all shifts in a quick service and fast food restaurant setting Be able to serve or bartend if needed Manage inventory control, including stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste Operate the POS system Toast for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Coordinate shift management, including assigning tasks, and supervising staff to meet operational goals Ensure compliance with health and safety standards across all food handling and kitchen activities Assist with serving and bartending when necessary to support overall restaurant operations Conduct staff interviews and participate in hiring processes to build a strong team Monitor customer feedback to continuously improve service quality and resolve any issues promptly Qualifications Proven supervising experience within a food service management environment, preferably in casual or fine dining settings Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management practices Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and food safety protocols Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and develop team members Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences Background in hospitality management or restaurant experience is highly desirable Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of food industry standards including catering, banquet service, bar operations, and coffee or barista experience is a plus Join our vibrant team where your leadership can make a real impact!
