Job Description
Scaled Composites is seeking a Travel Coordinator/Administrative Assistant to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
Ability to prioritize a high volume of tasking and operate in a fire and forget atmosphere.
Maintains a high degree of confidentiality.
Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
Ability to exercise good judgment with minimal oversight.
Proactively completes assigned tasking, including on-the-fly problem solving and issues that require critical thought.
Demonstrated capability organizing a complex schedule and varied priorities.
Must be able to work well with a wide variety of personalities across all departments.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook).Prior experience in travel logistics preferred.

We are a rapid prototyping and manufacturing facility, designing, building, and testing proof-of-concept and prototype vehicles. We have flown an average of one new aircraft type per year over our 40-plus year history such as Proteus, GlobalFlyer, SpaceShipOne, Model 401, and Stratolaunch.Duties and Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Processes all employee-related travel requestsProcesses all recruiting-related travel requestsPurchases/reserves all company transportation and accommodationsContracts and coordinates with hotels, airlines, and vehicle rental agencies for lowest corporate rates/fares availableStays informed of all travel related issues and alerts management of changes within the travel industryCreates expense reports for travelers, collects and maintains appropriate receipts and verifies company travel invoices; coordinates with the accounting department for employee reimbursementsMonitors and ensures compliance with Scaleds Travel Policy and ProceduresMay at times be asked to support staff in assigned project-based workSchedule is flexible to accommodate work after hours and on weekends as necessaryServes as backup to the admin teamSupports administrative and departmental projects and initiatives as directedpresentations, etc.Required Qualifications:

Essential Job Functions:
Requires mobility and the ability to bend and reach May infrequently require lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling materials weighing up to 30 pounds.
