YesPOSITION SUMMARY
Oversight of the patient travel patient housing office and staff. Responsible for the day-to-day travel operations which includes but not limited to providing travel and housing arrangements for patients and employees. Responsible for providing leadership for positive internal and external customer service. Responsible for training, development, and supervision of all travel team members. Reports directly to the Chief Nursing Officer.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily oversight of patient travel and patient housing staff. Participates in the hiring, disciplinary action, and annual evaluations of patient travel staff. Responsible for creating and maintaining 24 x 7 program coverage for travel and patient housing. Responsible for being current on Maniilaq travel policy, Maniilaq PRC policy, Medicaid travel rules and regulations, andANMC PRC
policy. Responsible for being current on Maniilaq Association Employee policies and have a good understanding of the policies. Responsible for ensuring all travel and housing employees have individual access to all required software applications and web sites. Responsible for ensuring all travel requests are completed in a timely manner. Responsible for travel and housing team member's individual productivity/advancements. Responsible for ensuring travel resources including but not limited to tickets, per diem cares, vouchers, are safeguarded and accounted for. Responsible for training and development of travel and housing team members. Responsible for tracking data and completing reports, including the bi-monthly board report. Available for calls from the patient travel, patient housing staff 24/7. Participates in the on-call rotation with the other travel housing staff and will cover when there is no on-call coverage. Works with the President's office for patients who request travel donations. Proficient in the use of the Halo system for meal allocations. Works closely with the CHAP AA in the villages on travel arrangements. Works closely with case management team on coordinating travel arrangements. Completes Plus P for Customer Service Interaction to ensure customer service satisfaction. Reviews staff timesheets for accuracy and prepares the coversheet, then forwards on to the manager for signatures. Provides a monthly team huddle with staff and provides minutes to manager.Job Qualifications:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have three-five (3-5) years' experience in health care. Supervisor experience is preferred but not mandatory. Must have good external and internal customer service skills. Must display good telephone etiquette in order to deal appropriately with the public. Must attend/receive customer service training with two months of hire or four months for current employees. Must have 10-key and typing skills 50 wpm minimum. Must have the ability to prioritize and carry out daily duties in a timely and accurate manner with minimal supervision. Must be able to both by phone and electronic book airline tickets and hotel stays. Must understand Alaska Medicaid and Indian Health. Must be willing to be a team player.
