About the role The Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness Center, managed by HealthFitness, is seeking a fill-in, Rest & Recovery Specialist in Bentonville, AR to create a welcoming, rejuvenating experience for members. In this role, you'll guide guests through recovery technologies, support Rest & Recharge services, and ensure a high-quality environment.
Schedule:
Must be flexible and available to provide weekend coverage. Oversees the delivery of services and all related equipment and direct member programs in the Rest and Recharge department. Demonstrates and guides guests through multiple recovery technologies for a quality experience. This role is the first impression of guests seeking to relax and rejuvenate.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Oversees recovery suite areas - both complimentary and paid services; interacts with participants and monitors equipment and participant safety. Provides direct program services in a variety of areas (e.g., cryotherapy, treatment, hydrotherapy, compression, red light, etc.). May assist with marketing and communication Assists with Whole Health programming Other duties as needed/assigned Minimum Requirements High School diploma and 1+ years' experience in the health and wellness field. Demonstrated commitment to a health-related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience. 1+ years' related industry experience. CPR, First Aid and AED certification through the American Heart Association, Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute. Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills including the ability to motivate others. Competency in the delivery of HealthFitness and site-specific programs and services. Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook; and working knowledge of the member management system, databases, and other software. Preferred Experience in massage therapy, recovery, stretching, etc. The compensation range for this role is $16 - $18/hour. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
