Tour Guide/Driver Guide

Job Overview We are seeking a personable and knowledgeable Tour Guide/Driver Guide to provide engaging and informative tours to visitors. This role involves safely operating vehicles, delivering exceptional customer service, and sharing captivating stories about our sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, leadership qualities, and a passion for teaching others about our cultural or historical landmarks. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued to enhance guest experiences across diverse audiences. Responsibilities Safely operate a 14-passenger Sprinter van, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols Provide engaging commentary and customer service to guests Ensure vehicle cleanliness and basic daily inspections Follow tour itineraries and company procedures Assist guests with boarding, timing, and general needs throughout the tour Represent the company in a professional and positive manner Requirements/Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Must be over the age of 25 Ability to pass a drug test and urine test Comfortable driving long distances (San Diego, Joshua Tree National Park, Santa Barbara) Outgoing personality with strong communication skills Passion for outdoor destinations and tourism Reliable, punctual, and safety-oriented Previous tour guide or customer service experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate Bilingual in English and Mandarin or Spanish is a plus What We're Looking For Someone who enjoys working with people Loves the outdoors and nature Can stay calm and professional under pressure Takes pride in safety and guest satisfaction Ability to solve problems and offer alternative solutions in real time Enthusiastic and have energy to hike with guests
