Tour Guide

Full Job Description The Tour Guide will lead tours group on the route and the guide will be required to deliver information about the locations visited and have excellent customer service skills. The Tour Guide must have a clean driving record and be committed to safety while driving. They should be able to memorize and recite approved informative speeches and be able to research and learn about new interesting facts and tour information. The Tour Guide must also have a CDL-Driver License with a passenger endorsement, be over the age of 25, have Native English speaking skills, and have a 3-year clean driving record with no DUI. They must also be able to pass a drug test and have no history of active drug use. The Tour Guide should be able to work in all weather conditions and be able to comply with and enforce all local, company, and state-required regulations to ensure the safety of guests.

Responsibilities:

Greet guests in a courteous and professional manner. Understand and speak to history, knowledge, and facts about the locations. Create positive customer relations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to solve problems and offer alternative solutions in real-time. Additional health and safety training is an asset. Ability to work in teams and independently. Excellent communication skills. Excellent instructional skill is required. Good organizational skills. Working knowledge of terrain, environment, and local area Exceptional interpersonal skills

Average Hourly Income:

$19.18 + TIPS Typical income a day: $400 ~ $700

Requirements:

• CDL-Driver License with Passenger Endorsement over the age of 25 PREFERRED
• MUST speak fluent English
• 2 + years of experience is preferred.
• MUST have a 3-year clean driving record (NO DUIs)
• MUST be able to pass a drug test and no history of active drug use
• MUST have the ability to work in all weather conditions.
• MUST have the ability to comply and enforce all local, company, and state required regulations, as to always ensure the safety of guests
• MUST have the ability to multitask between paperwork, email communication, cell phone communication, and computer tablet usage
• MUST be residing in San Francisco, CA (Bay Area)
