Role:
SchoolScoops is hiring Stanford students for a flexible, part-time campus tour guide position. Families book personalized tours through our platform to get a real student perspective on Stanford beyond the standard admissions tour. As a guide, you'll lead casual 1-2 hour walking tours of campus while sharing your honest experience as a Stanford student — academics, housing, student life, clubs, food, internships, social scene, favorite spots around campus, and what day-to-day life is actually like. This is not a scripted admissions tour. We're looking for friendly, reliable students who can hold a conversation and provide an authentic perspective to prospective students and families. We already have multiple Stanford tours scheduled for June and July and are currently adding a small number of additional guides.
Responsibilities:
Lead private walking tours of Stanford University and surrounding campus areas Answer questions about student life, academics, housing, dining, traditions, internships, and campus culture Keep tours conversational, engaging, and authentic Arrive on time and communicate professionally with guests
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student at Stanford University Friendly, dependable, and comfortable speaking with families and students Strong communication skills No formal tour guide experience required

Stanford Compensation:
Standard private tours: $40/hour Select summer group tours: up to $75/hour Tips occasionally provided by guests
How Scheduling Works:
Families submit tour requests through the platform and guides receive text/email notifications to accept or decline based on availability. There are no minimum hour requirements.
