About us The Dinosaur Resource Center is a 12,000-square-foot world class museum dedicated to fossils from North America's Cretaceous Period including marine reptiles, pterosaurs and dinosaurs. Located in the shadow of Pikes Peak
  • Woodland Park, Colorado.
Only 30 minutes west of Colorado Springs. ​The RMDRC is rated #2 for best dinosaur museums in the USA by America's Best and Top 10.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Tour Guide to join our team. As a Tour Guide, you will be responsible for providing informative and engaging tours to visitors, showcasing the unique features and history of our location. This is a paid position that requires excellent communication skills and a passion for educating others.
Duties:
  • Conduct tours of our facility, ensuring an enjoyable and educational experience for visitors
  • Provide detailed information about the history and significance of various points of interest
  • Engage with visitors, answering questions and providing additional information as needed
  • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor throughout the tour
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of tour participants at all times
  • Adhere to established tour schedules and time management guidelines
Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively educate and engage with diverse audiences
  • Strong public speaking abilities to deliver clear and engaging presentations
  • Leadership qualities to guide and manage groups during tours
  • Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus, as it allows for better communication with international visitors
  • Exceptional time management skills to ensure tours run smoothly and on schedule
  • Strong customer service skills to provide a positive experience for all visitors Please note that this is a paid position.
