Job Description

Tour Guide in Washington, D.C. Actively hiring part-time tour guides! Weekend availability (at least one day) a must.

Pay:
From $35.00 per hour (plus tips!), paid training hours, and hourly raise at 1 year mark.

1099 Independent Contractor Are you passionate about history, culture, storytelling, and showing people the best of Washington, DC? Join our team of dynamic tour guides! We are a well-established tour company operating in 9 cities and have experienced exponential growth within DC.
What we offer:

Our tours:
Capitol Hill Guided Tour with Entry Tickets (3 hrs)
Arlington Cemetery:
Changing of the Guard & JFK Gravesite (2 hrs) National Mall Sunset Walking Tour Georgetown Spies and Ghosts Walking Tour Cherry Blossom Guided Tour (Seasonal) (2 hrs)
Responsibilities:
Lead engaging and informative tours, ensuring an exceptional guest experience. Be open to learning and performing all tour types listed above. All hires require at least one weekend day of availability. Represent our company with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Requirements:
A passion for history, storytelling, and hospitality. Strong communication and public speaking skills. Ability to adapt to various group sizes and dynamics. Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor. Availability to work a minimum of four tours per week, with flexibility in scheduling. Must be eligible to work as a 1099 independent contractor.
