Horseback Tour Guide

Job Description:

Guiding trail rides with mostly beginner riders on trails. Keeping the guests safe and calm when they're nervous. Knowing how to match horses to guests based on their weight and riding experience. The daily care of 20+ horses such as feeding, watering, tacking/untacking, & bathing. Keeping barn clean & functional. Could lead up to 4 tours a day, each tour lasting around 1.5 hours. Days can last 10-12 hours.

Someone who is passionate about horses and willing to put in the work it takes for the proper care of horses Someone who prides themselves on taking excellent care of horses Someone who customer service oriented and punctual Someone who is quick and efficient in their work

Schedule:

Hours vary based on tours booking. We would like someone who is a team player with a flexible schedule who is able to cover coworkers shifts when occasionally needed (which will be reciprocated, of course).

Salary and Benefits:

This position pays $16/hr plus cash tips. We now offer paid time off, 401k, health insurance, and other great benefits!

Requirements:

Must be 18 years or older 4 years horse care/riding experience (doesn't have to be professional experience) Valid driver's license Must be able available to work 5 days/week, including weekends CPR certification is NOT required but a plus About the
