Job Description
Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Tour Guide to lead visitors through a 2hr guided tour. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and customer service skills, a passion for sharing knowledge about the area and wildlife, and the ability to connect with diverse audiences. This role offers an opportunity to showcase leadership qualities, enhance public speaking abilities, and promote a positive visitor experience in a dynamic environment. Compensation $70/tour + tips and weekly bonus potential Responsibilities Lead 2hr guided tours for groups of visitors, ensuring they receive informative and entertaining narration about the site or attraction Engage audiences with compelling storytelling and educational insights Manage tour schedules efficiently, ensuring timely departures and arrivals Answer questions from guests, providing clear and accurate information Maintain safety protocols during tours to ensure visitor well-being Assist in organizing special events or themed tours as needed Foster a welcoming atmosphere that enhances guest satisfaction and encourages repeat visits Requirements Excellent public speaking and communication skills to effectively engage diverse audiences Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable, but not required, to accommodate our international visitors Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage groups confidently Experience in customer service or teaching is preferred to enhance guest interactions Exceptional time management skills to adhere to tour schedules Ability to work outdoors or in various environmental conditions as required by the attraction Demonstrated enthusiasm for sharing knowledge and creating memorable experiences for visitors Tow-Ready with personal vehicle and has experience driving with a trailer
