Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Tour Guide/Manager to join our team for an On Call position.l for the summer season. As a Tour Guide, you will have the opportunity to showcase your communication skills and share your passion for our organization with visitors. This is an exciting role that allows you to educate and entertain guests while providing an exceptional experience.Duties:
- Conduct guided tours of our facility, providing visitors with interesting and engaging information about our organization, its history, and its offerings
- Lead groups of up to 13 guests through designated areas, ensuring their safety and enjoyment throughout the tour
- Utilize your public speaking skills to deliver clear and informative presentations
- Answer questions from guests and provide additional information as needed
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors
- Assist with crowd management and ensure adherence to tour schedules
- Collaborate with other team members to continuously improve the tour experience
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse audiences
- Strong time management skills to ensure tours run smoothly and on schedule
- Leadership abilities to guide groups effectively and maintain control in various situations
