Description:
Our walking food tours offer a unique perspective of Boston and we are always looking for equally unique, passionate individuals to join our team. As a guide, you will essentially serve as an ambassador, showcasing what Boston's most vibrant and tasty neighborhoods have to offer - including delicious local food specialties! Our tours run seasonally from March - December, and we currently offer experiences in the South End, North End, Fort Point and Chinatown neighborhoods, as well as a Classic Boston Food Tour experience downtown. Tours last between 2.5-3 hours and cover about 1 mile of walking. We are currently seeking guides for our Chinatown's Culture & Cuisine Tour, but may have additionaly openings in other neighborhoods soon. We have both weekday and weekend tour shifts available, and we are able to begin training new guides immediately. •Must be able to work some weekends• Guides are paid a flat rate per tour plus gratuities. With gratuities guides typically make $50+ / hour per tour.
Qualifications:
A passion for all things Boston! A love of local food and urbanmunity Patience and excellent people skills A friendly and smiley disposition Knowledge of and first-hand experience with the Boston food scene Some knowledge of Boston's Chinatown neighborhood a plus Lives in or around Boston - within 10 miles of the tour starting point Enjoy meeting new people and supporting small, local Boston businesses!
