POSITION SUMMARY
Shakespeare & Company seeks an experienced and imaginative individual to fill the position of Education Tour and Workshop Manager, responsible for the promotion, implementation, and daily management of the Northeast Regional Tour and Workshops in the Education Department. This year-round position begins on or about August 15, 2026; $769.23 to $961.54 per week ($40,000 to $50,000 annually), with local housing during relocation available.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedules the Tour including auditions, rehearsals, performances, and travel;
- Schedules Workshops;
- Works with others to produce promotional materials and content for Tour and Workshops;
- Actively pursues and contracts performance opportunities for the Tour and opportunities for Workshops and potential Workshop participants;
- Works with others to cultivate Workshop sessions in costuming and production;
- Works with others to hire all Tour and Workshops artistic staff;
- Manages Tour Booking contracts, payments, weekly schedules, and correspondence and enrollment for all Workshops;
- Serves as primary technical & logistical contact with Tour schools/venues;
- Assures the readiness of performance spaces contracted for Tour presentations;
- Coordinates vehicle needs, scheduling, and day-of-performance details for the actors;
- Facilitates actors' travel and amodations, per diem, and other travel expenses;
- Works closely with others to coordinate maintenance of Tour as issues arise;
- Tracks payments and expenses for Finance department;
- Manages all in-house performances of the Tour, including coordinating student seating, ticketing, and other needed logistics;
- Manages all workshops in person, and keeps the schedule, coordinatesmunication with participants, and coordinates space use;
- Coordinates and collaborates with others on revision, publication and distribution of Tour Study Guides, Training manuals, Workshop materials for participants, other needed ed materials;
- Attends and participates in bi-weeklypany Operations Meetings;
- Provides additional support across other Education programming.

Our Educational Workshops are designed for all ages, Students, Community Members, Teachers, Directors and Teaching Artists to help create engaging learning experiences of Shakespeare and Stagecraft for the stage and in the classroom.Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have: ? Experience in Theater/Performing Arts management or a related undergraduate degree; ? Prior experience with Touring productions and/or Educational Theatre programs; ? Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced, high-transaction performing or other arts environment; ? Strong interpersonal and collaborative leadership skills and an openness to many perspectives; ? Experience inanizing, working, andmunicating effectively with groups of individuals from diverse backgrounds, identities, abilities, and experiences; ? Strong detail,anizational, and project management skills; ? Strong written and conversationalmunication skills; ? Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, Zoom and Social Media; ? Valid Driver's License; ? Experience with Shakespeare & Company's Education Programming preferred; ? Budget management experience preferred; ? Completion of aCOVID-19
