Tasting Room Associate

Job Overview Clyopatra Winery & Vineyard is seeking friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Tasting Room Associates , also known as part of the Clyopatra Wine Crew . As a Tasting Room Associate, you will be one of the first points of contact for guests visiting the winery. Your role is to welcome visitors, guide them through tastings, assist with reservations and seating, and help create a warm and enjoyable atmosphere for every guest. No prior wine experience is required — we will teach you everything you need to know. Responsibilities Welcome guests and provide a friendly, professional introduction to the winery Guide guests through wine tastings and answer general questions Pour and present wines during tastings and service Serve light food offerings and assist guests with their selections Assist with guest check-in, reservations, and seating Support daily tasting room operations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and guest areas Assist with winery events and special experiences as needed Work closely with the team to ensure smooth service during busy periods Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality, restaurants, events, or customer-facing roles preferred Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to create a welcoming and engaging environment for guests Comfortable communicating with a variety of guests in a professional and personable manner Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team Organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities during busy periods Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the role Basic experience handling transactions is a plus Interest in wine, culture, or hospitality experiences is a plus, but not required Schedule Part-time position, approximately 15-30 hours per week Must be available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays Typical shifts range from 5-7 hours Occasional availability for special events is a plus Work Environment Clyopatra Winery & Vineyard offers a welcoming, community-driven environment where guests gather to enjoy wine, conversation, and curated experiences.
