1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interim Director of Nursing (DON) role in a long-term care setting, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and an active MN RN license. Details Post-acute/long-term care (LTC) management setting Serves as interim DON with floor coverage responsibilities as needed Day shift, 8-hour shifts Work week runs Sunday through Saturday No on-call or call-back responsibilities Requirements Active MN RN license required (must be active, pending licenses not accepted) Current BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required — no exceptions Computerized charting experience required Driver's license required 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire Additional Information Responsible for interim DON leadership duties, including floor coverage to fill staffing needs as required Candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility are accepted at a local pay rate If facility-provided housing is used, local pay rates apply
