Ministry Function The Field Teams Resource Coordinator supports the ministry of Convoy of Hope by preparing for and assisting with all aspects that make for a successful trip including creating, curating, and maintaining web-based resources and leading Field Teams. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Creates, curates, and maintains insightful resources such as video, blog posts, and more to facilitate Field Teams preparation, execution, and debrief. Uses Field Teams' communication tools such as Monday.com, Sanity (web content management system), and email to organize and share project and logistical information with relevant Field Teams teams and personnel. Reports on finances and trip activity managing large sums of money with integrity and precision. Works with the Resource Manager and other Field Teams colleagues to ensure all relevant field information is gathered and communicated. Assists Field Teams Leadership and helps train Reserve Staff and Lead Volunteers to be effective field leaders. Reports on past Field Teams engagement with follow-up stories and communication with both the field leadership and past team members and leaders. Assists in responding to website inquiries, emails, and phone calls. Maintains and ships "welcome kits" and ensures the shipment of materials in a timely fashion. Serves as an on-field Field Teams leader for approximately 6 teams in a year with ongoing dialogue and potential updates about the amount of travel. Assists the Field Teams team with tasks, as needed. Evaluates systems to make sure they are serving efficiently and effectively. Supports the different initiatives of U.S. Program, as assigned. Fulfills all other duties as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Three years' experience serving in ministry function is preferred. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Displays strong organizational skills for handling several projects at once and has meticulous attention to detail. Show initiative in finding and completing tasks. Exhibits excellent written and verbal communication skills for tactful communication with pastors and team leaders. Possesses excellent grammar and punctuation skills for writing resources and reports. Accurately, methodically, and wisely follows verbal directions and written processes. Demonstrates the ability to perform some physical labor on an infrequent basis by lifting up to 50 lbs. Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as requested. Exhibits strong Mac or PC proficiency and working knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office with the ability to quickly learn Monday.com or other Field Teams systems as needed. Attends and actively participates in COGH At Home Week meetings and activities as a required responsibility to the organization and fellow team members. Serves as an advocate for the ministry striving to nurture, broaden, and develop financial and other resource opportunities to support and expand organizational and program ministry. Positively represents the ministry of Convoy of Hope, including its mission statement and core values, to all outside constituencies. Supervisory Responsibilities This position will occasionally supervise volunteers on Field Teams trips.
