Overview Join our vibrant team as an Activities Attendant at the Paintbox, where your enthusiasm and creativity will bring joy to our young guests! In this lively role, you'll lead engaging activities, manage event setups, and ensure every guest has a memorable experience. Your energy and customer service skills will help foster a fun, inclusive environment that encourages participation and excitement. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your hospitality, event management, and guest engagement skills while working in a dynamic resort setting. Duties Facilitate a variety of engaging activities for guests, including arts and crafts, games, and themed events tailored to different age groups Manage the setup and breakdown of activity spaces, ensuring all equipment and materials are organized and safe for use Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming guests, answering questions, and assisting with activity registration or participation Maintain a lively atmosphere by encouraging guest involvement and managing group dynamics effectively Enforce safety protocols during activities, including lifeguard responsibilities if applicable, to ensure guest safety at all times Collaborate with team members to coordinate special events or themed days that enhance the guest experience in the resort environment Qualifications Previous experience in events management, hospitality, or working with children is highly desirable Strong customer service and guest services skills with a positive, energetic attitude Ability to handle conflict management situations calmly and professionally when necessary Excellent public speaking skills to lead activities confidently in front of groups Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment within a resort or entertainment setting This position is ideal for motivated individuals who thrive on creating fun moments for guests while developing valuable skills in event coordination and guest engagement.
