About Andrews Valley Rail Tours Andrews Valley Rail Tours operates out of Andrews, North Carolina. We take passengers on a scenic rail experiences through the Smoky Mountains of Western North Carolina. As a family-owned, service-based tourism business, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional guest experiences with a focus on safety, hospitality, and adventure. We're looking for outgoing, charismatic individuals to join our track crew and serve as tour guides, representing our company with professionalism and enthusiasm. Job Responsibilities Engage and interact with tour guests, sharing knowledge about the region's history, scenery, and rail operations. Conduct safety briefings and provide clear, instructional information to guests and riders to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Perform track crew duties, including maintenance, inspections, and operation of light equipment to ensure safe rail operations. Represent Andrews Valley Rail Tours in public relations, embodying our commitment to outstanding customer service. Work outdoors in various weather conditions, maintaining a professional appearance and positive attitude. Assist with physically demanding tasks, including lifting a minimum of 50 lbs. Qualifications Outgoing, cheerful, and charismatic personality with excellent public speaking skills and clear diction. Professional appearance, clean-cut, and dependable transportation to ensure punctuality. Physically fit, able to lift at least 50 lbs. Commitment to a drug-free workplace. Prior experience in tourism, customer service, or rail operations is a plus but not required; on-the-job training provided.
