Job Description

This position coordinates and manages the day-to-day operations of the Student Ambassador Program and campus visit experience, including individual and group campus tours. The role serves as the primary operational lead for tour scheduling, ambassador management, and customer engagement, while collaborating with the Assistant Director of Outreach and Recruitment on strategy and program development. Assists in developing, planning, implementing, and administering goals and objectives related to the Student Ambassador and Campus Visit program. 2. Recruits, interviews, hires, trains, and supervises student ambassadors; evaluates performance and provides ongoing coaching and development. 3. Manages the daily operation of campus visits, including individual and group tours, ensuring a high-quality and welcoming experience for prospective students, families, and community partners. 4. Serves as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders (K-12 partners, community organizations, and prospective students/families) requesting campus tours and visit experiences. 5. Coordinates and manages all tour scheduling logistics through the college's CRM system; ensures accuracy, efficiency, and timely communication. 6. Develops and maintains tour scripts, training materials, and ambassador resources to ensure consistent messaging aligned with institutional priorities. 7. Provides direct support to the Assistant Director by implementing strategic initiatives and translating them into operational processes and daily execution. 8. Collaborates with internal departments (academic programs, student services, campus partners) to coordinate tour experiences, group visits, and special events. 9. Monitors participation, attendance, and program effectiveness; prepares reports and provides recommendations for continuous improvement. 10. Assists with marketing and promotional efforts to increase campus visit engagement, including outreach to schools and community organizations. 11. Supports recruitment initiatives by participating in outreach events, presentations, and enrollment-related activities as needed. 12. Maintains communication with prospective students and guests before and after visits, ensuring excellent customer service and follow-up engagement. 13. May assist in special projects, event coordination, or new initiatives related to recruitment and campus engagement.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Higher Education, Communications, Business, Student Affairs, or related discipline)
  • Two years of administrative, program coordination, or student services experience; experience in recruitment, campus visits, or student leadership programs preferred
  • Knowledge of program coordination, student development, and customer service best practices
  • Experience supervising, training, or mentoring student staff
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, student-centered environment
  • Experience with CRM systems, scheduling tools, or event management platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new technologies
Working Conditions:
Typical office environment with frequent interaction across campus locations. Requires standing, walking, and leading campus tours. May include occasional evening or weekend hours for tours and events. Occasional travel between campuses or off-site locations may be required
