Adventure Tour Guide

Asheville Jeep Tours is a locally operated outdoor adventure company offering guided Jeep tours through the stunning landscapes, forests, and historic areas in and around Asheville, NC. About the Role As a Jeep Tour Guide, your primary mission is to deliver safe, fun, and unforgettable adventures for every guest. You'll be the face of Asheville Jeep Tours, driving, storytelling, and creating memories that last a lifetime. Responsibilities Contact guests prior to their tour to confirm details and answer questions Prep gear, food, and snacks for each adventure Clean and prep the tour vehicle before each trip Safely operate a Jeep through city traffic, forest terrain, and varied weather conditions Lead engaging, informative, and entertaining tours through conversation, history, and storytelling Maintain a positive, enthusiastic, and welcoming attitude at all times Required Qualifications You demonstrate a passion for the outdoors and sharing the area's beauty and history You can drive up to 10 hours per day and walk to various points of interest You are energetic, enthusiastic, and can converse with a wide variety of people from all over the world You have an exceptional driving history and can pass a motor vehicle record check You safely operate the jeep through challenging city traffic, varied Forest Service terrain, in all types of weather conditions, while crafting entertaining and informative tours. Preferred Qualifications Previous tour guiding or customer-facing experience First Aid, CPR, and/or AED Certification Wilderness First Aid (WFA) or Wilderness First Responder (WFR) certification Why Join Us?
