Rail Survey Field Agents & Supervisors

About Us:

HWP InsightWorks , a division of HWP Enterprises , specializes in large-scale data collection, analytics, and public engagement initiatives across transportation, healthcare, and government sectors. We are currently building a high-performance field team to support a major Transit survey initiative. Overview We are seeking Field Survey Agents and Supervisors to support a large-scale public transportation study across New Jersey rail lines. This role involves engaging transit riders onboard trains and assisting them in completing short surveys (2 minutes) using mobile devices or phone-based support. We are building a mission-driven, high-performance team focused on reliability, professionalism, and results. High performers will be deployed across other firm projects. This is potentially a long-term employment opportunity for those interested in long-term work.

Compensation Field Agents:

$25/hour Daily performance bonuses ($10-$50/day) End-of-deployment team bonus ($250) Supervisors $32/hour Daily team performance bonuses End-of-deployment team bonus ($500)

Field Deployment:

Fall 2026 (approx. 6 weeks—with three more deployments to follow) Responsibilities - Field Agents Ride assigned Transit trains and engage passengers Distribute survey materials (QR codes / cards) Encourage participation and assist with completion Track and report survey distribution Move efficiently across train cars (including stairs) Represent HWP InsightWorks professionally Responsibilities - Supervisors Lead a team of 8-10 field agents Coordinate daily assignments and logistics Monitor team performance and productivity Ensure survey protocols and quality standards are followed Collect and review daily reporting logs Serve as point of contact for project leadership Education & Experience Field Agents High school diploma or equivalent required Customer service, outreach, or public-facing experience strongly preferred Supervisors High school diploma or equivalent required Demonstrated experience in team leadership or supervision required Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience) Preferred Qualifications (All Roles) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable approaching and engaging the public Reliable, punctual, and professional Physically able to move between train cars and navigate stairs Experience working in fast-paced environments Bilingual or multilingual skills a strong plus Veterans Preference HWP InsightWorks is committed to supporting those who have served.
