- Part-time We are hiring a part-time Mandarin-speaking tour guide/driver for a new 2-day overnight tour departing from Las Vegas.
This is a field operator role. You will be responsible for guest experience, safety, timing, logistics, narration, and execution quality while leading guests through long travel days in remote areas. This is not a script-reading job. You are the leader of the tour. Language Requirements Professional Mandarin fluency is required. You must be able to lead a full 2-day tour in Mandarin, including guest instructions, tour narration, safety communication, answering questions, and casual conversation with guests. Conversational English is also required so you can communicate clearly with management, complete training, receive instructions, and report issues. Guides who can also lead our English-language tours at a professional level may be eligible for additional work. What You'll Do Lead small-group, 2-day tours from Las Vegas to Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon National Park, Page, Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, and back to Las Vegas. Safely drive a company vehicle (15-passenger vans) on long-distance routes through Nevada and Arizona. Manage timing, guests, meal stops, hotel check-in, tour flow, and unexpected issues. Provide clear Mandarin-language narration and instructions throughout the tour. Deliver a professional, organized, 5-star guest experience. Schedule This is a part-time, sporadic-hours role to start. The Mandarin-language tour is a new product, so it will not run every week at first. Expected starting schedule is 1-2 tours every 2-4 weeks, depending on demand and guide availability. Each tour lasts 2 days and typically provides about 30 hours of paid work. Tours begin very early. Guides usually report to the Las Vegas office around 5:00am on Day 1 of the tour, and Day 1 often ends around 9:00pm in Page, Arizona. The guide stays overnight in a hotel paid for by the company. Day 2 begins around 7:00am and the tour typically returns to Las Vegas and wraps up around 6:00-7:00pm. Hours may increase as the tour's popularity grows. Compensation Starting wage is $19/hr + tips + bonuses. Total compensation usually averages around $35
- 40/hr with tips included Company-paid hotel accommodations provided during the overnight tour.
Who Thrives Here The right person is calm, reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable leading adults through long travel days. You should be a strong communicator, a safe driver, and able to stay professional when plans change or guests need help. You must be comfortable with early mornings, long days, overnight travel, guest-facing work, and real responsibility. Requirements Professional Mandarin fluency required. Conversational English required. Valid driver's license required. Able to work early mornings, long days, weekends, holidays, and overnight tours. Reliable, punctual, professional, and safety-focused. Tour guiding, hospitality, teaching, public speaking, customer service, or leadership experience is helpful but not required for the right person.
