1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Lab Manager RN for a 13-week travel contract overseeing day-to-day laboratory operations, requiring a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience and 2 years of laboratory leadership. Details Laboratory department management role within a hospital setting Manages operations supporting hospital inpatients, emergency room patients, outpatients, and clinic specimens Laboratory testing includes blood, body fluids, and tissue samples for disease and condition diagnosis Lab operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week Day shift: 0800-1630 with occasional weekend requirements 13-week contract Requirements Active Oregon (OR) RN license required ASCP, AMT, or equivalent Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) certification required Minimum 5 years of clinical experience required Minimum 2 years of laboratory leadership experience required Proficiency with Kronos/UKG required Proficiency with Epic Beaker required Hospital setting experience preferred Additional Information Manages day-to-day laboratory operations and works closely with the Laboratory Director on policy and procedural matters The facility's labs are CLIA-licensed and accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) This facility strictly adheres to all posted job requirements including years of experience and certifications, and will not make exceptions This is a management-level travel opportunity — candidates must meet all experience and certification requirements to be considered
