Maitre D / Greeter / Host / Door Manager- Franky Bradley's This position is a hybrid position handling greeting and engaging, creating a welcoming and enticing environment to draw guests in, host duties, such as greeting and seating, and light door security duties such as ID and carding guests. The ideal candidate is an extrovert that is at home with actively engaging the public as well as being able to utilize an ability to manage patrons at the door. Smart dress, a positive attitude , and an ability to multi task are required. Duties include- Engage with the public at the door, describing the evening's entertainment, menu highlights, and generally enticing them to enter. Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner , ascertaining their dining preferences and needs, and determine where best to seat them. Maintains and updates the reservation system using Resy reservation software, and keeps track of available tables. Directs guests to their table or the bar and provide them with menus. Guides opening of the restaurant in cooperation with the manager, including cleaning menus, lighting candles, or other similar duties Communicates with diners about specials, promotions, entertainment, and wait times. Pitches in to clear and set tables and deliver food and other requested items to diners. Resolve conflicts or addresses and work to prevent diner disappointment. This job is the most forward facing position at Franky Bradley's and as such requires someone with excellent customer service standards, strong self-confidence, and an ability to genuinely engage with the public, and when necessary deescalate potential conflicts.
