ADVENTURE GUIDE WANTED
We're looking for someone who feels alive outside. Someone who loves muddy boots, winding trails, campfire conversations, and the beautiful chaos of adventuring with kids, a guide who is comfortable taking initiative and has a heart for discipling our students (ages 4-14) through their outdoor experiences. As part of the Chrysalis community, you'll help lead weekly Adventure Days rooted in exploration, relationship, and wonder. Using a forest school approach, we spend our days wandering the tallgrass prairies, oak savannas, rivers, and wild places around Sioux Falls, learning through firsthand experience in every season. This is more than outdoor education. It's an opportunity to help children grow into curious, capable, and courageous humans through meaningful work, unhurried discovery, and shared adventure in God's creation. Responsibilities & Duties Prepare for outdoor adventure days in coordination with another lead guide Assist with packing in and packing out water, tools, and supplies as necessary Commitment to kind communication with students and upholding ground rules when necessary Model safe outdoor practices Qualifications & Experience Experience in outdoor/adventure education or excursion leading/training Clean background check Maintain CPR and first aid certifications - training provided Compensation Hourly wage of $17-20 depending on level of experience, with a higher rate possible if experience is exceptional 16-40 hrs/week depending on availability of guide Email chrysaliscollectiveadventure@gmail.com or text Elizabeth (605) 321-6090 https://chrysaliscollective.mypixieset.com/
