skills!!! Position Summary The Evening Tour Guide must have a good sense of fun and desire to entertain while singing and narrating a script of Nashville's music history. The Evening Tour Guide must extend courtesy and hospitality. The guests should feel glad they have chosen our company to entertain them.

Requirements:
Essential Functions Present historically accurate information in an entertaining manner in costume, in a moving trolley and various outdoor weather conditions, several times a work shift, in a loud audible voice with or without amplification to be heard from the front of the trolley to the back of the trolley on sometimes loud busy streets. Study and rehearse roles from script to interpret, learn, and memorize lines and cues. Read, interpret, and memorize musical compositions and apply your voice and style to create assigned songs in the tour script Use props as directed Must be mindful of timing to complete the tour in the time allotted. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to work independently over long periods of time or as part of a team within the scope of established rules and regulations. Ability to read, write, and speak clear English in order to communicate with co-workers and the general public Ability to learn stage direction and memorize historical details provided in a scripted story and relay scripted story in an entertaining manner. Ability to be heard in a loud, audible voice. Ability to give the scripted story in time allowed. Qualifications Strong interest in Nashville's history is desirable. Prior performance or interpretation experience strongly preferred. Ability to play guitar preferred, not required Ability to sing well is a must Other Requirements Must pass pre-employment background check and substance abuse testing Have a passion for helping people and making their Nashville experience a memorable one.
