Museum Services Associate (Part-time) American Quarter Horse Association - 3.1 Amarillo, TX Job Details Part-time $15 an hour 5 days ago Qualifications Microsoft Excel English High school diploma or GED Grammar Experience Full Job Description Work in team setting to welcome and interact with customers and visitors to the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum.

Responsibilities:

. Greet visitors and provide related tour information Collect admissions and process related transactions and prepare end-of-day reports. Sell merchandise to visitors of the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum. Assist with exhibit implementation and tear down. Assist with museum collections and routine exhibit maintenance. Assist with daily opening and closing procedures, including building security and emergency evacuation and or sheltering policies. Watch for and recognize daily security risks and know how to prevent or handle these situations. Inventory stock and requisition new stock. Open, read, route, and distribute incoming mail or other materials. Assist with direct efforts in mass mail. Maintain Wall of Honor list in donor database and Hall of Fame kiosks. Track and maintain the visitor registry for reporting purposes. All other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to manage spreadsheets and format data.

Specific Knowledge:

Knowledge and ability to apply basic customer service skills. Actively looking for ways to help visitors and our customers. Ability to problem-solve through deductive reasoning and make decisions accordingly. Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and other non-traditional hours.

Languages:

Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Must be fluent in

English Minimum Experience Required:

1-year prior customer service and data entry experience preferred
