1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interim Outpatient Nursing Services Manager position requiring a minimum of 2 years of oncology experience and ONS certification at a Level 4 Trauma facility in Moab, UT. Details Outpatient setting at a Level 4 Trauma hospital in Moab, UT Manages a small outpatient nursing services team of 2-3 staff members across Oncology, Infusion, and Wound Care programs This is a working manager role with both clinical and administrative responsibilities Monday-Friday schedule with on-call responsibilities that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays 13-week contract Requirements Active UT RN license or compact license currently in hand BSN from an accredited school of nursing required Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience required Minimum 3 years of recent RN experience required ONS certification required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a medical setting required Strong proficiency with electronic health records required Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) certification preferred Infusion certification preferred Additional Information Responsibilities include staff management, quality control, compliance, financial oversight, outreach marketing, and clinical oversight of the Outpatient Nursing Services department Provides administrative on-call support across all hospital departments as a member of nursing leadership Responsible for developing and maintaining departmental policies and procedures in accordance with state and federal regulations for outpatient infusion and nursing treatments Oversees monthly departmental financials and annual budgetary planning (operational and capital) Coordinates new hire orientation and onboarding, and supports ongoing staff education in oncology, infusion, and wound care best practices Builds and maintains relationships with internal and external providers to promote outpatient treatment and grow departmental referrals Holiday coverage required for: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day Blue scrubs preferred Temporary housing options may be available in Moab, UTSimilar jobs in Moab, UT
