Job Overview:
We're looking for outgoing, safety-minded, and adventurous individuals to join our team as Raft Guides on the beautiful Provo River. As a raft guide, you'll be responsible for leading guests down Class I-II rapids, ensuring a safe and fun experience for all. Whether you're a seasoned river rat or newer to guiding, if you love the outdoors and working with people, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:
Safely guide guests down the Provo River on 2 hour rafting and kayaking trips. Guide guests on short hikes in the area. Provide clear safety briefings and paddling instructions before and during trips. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner; deliver a fun and memorable experience. Conduct regular safety checks on gear, rafts, and personal flotation devices (PFDs). Assist with loading/unloading gear and rafts at the put-in and take-out points. Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and facilities. Act as an ambassador for outdoor recreation and river stewardship.Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years old. Current CPR/First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain before start date). Swiftwater Rescue Certification (preferred, but not required). Prior rafting or kayaking experience (guiding experience is a plus, but not required — training available). Strong swimmer and comfortable in moving water. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Positive attitude and team-player mentality. Willing to work varying hours based on river flow and bookings.Perks:
