Job Description

Join Our Museum Team at The Looking Glass at IX Art Park! The Looking Glass at IX Art Park is seeking enthusiastic and creative individuals to join our Museum Team ! If you love engaging with people in a fun, funky, and artistic environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you. About the
Role:
As a Museum Team Member, you'll help create a welcoming and interactive experience for guests.
Our current museum hours are:
Thursdays:
5:00 PM•8:00
PM Fridays:
6:00 PM•10:00p
Saturdays:
10:00 AM•6:00
PM Sundays:
12:00 PM•5:00 PM First Thursday of each month: Noon-5p & 8:00 PM•11:00 PM First Friday of each month: 6:00 PM•
Midnight Events:
variable hours Team members are responsible for guest interactions, concession and merchandise sales, and maintaining a vibrant and creative atmosphere . Employees under 21 will handle concession and merchandise sales only, mainly focusing on greeting visitors and explaining the Exhibit in a Concierge role. Employees 21 and older will be considered for bartending roles, which include serving alcohol in addition to concession and merchandise sales. There are also additional opportunities for event bartending. Team members typically work a minimum of 8 hours per week, up to 20 hours, with the potential for more hours during special events.
Responsibilities:
Open and close the museum space Greet and engage with guests, ensuring a memorable experience Facilitate hands-on art activities and interactive exhibits Handle concession, merchandise, and alcohol sales (bartending limited to 21+) Maintain a clean and organized workspace
