1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Director of Quality and Patient Safety Officer position requiring a Master's degree, 5+ years of healthcare leadership experience, and an active WA or compact RN license. Details Leadership role within a Case Management department in an acute care hospital setting Focuses on cross-continuum care coordination, utilization management, and quality patient care outcomes Works collaboratively with market leaders, physicians, social workers, clinical case managers, and community colleagues Uses Epic EMR Standard 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week May float between two hospital locations Requirements Active WA or compact RN license required Master's degree in a health-related field required Minimum of 5 years of healthcare leadership experience required 8 years of clinical experience in acute care case management preferred Epic EMR experience Additional Information Responsible for leading a team of clinical case managers and social workers in delivering coordinated, patient-centered care Oversees development and implementation of case management processes, tools, and systems for effective utilization and resource management Facilitates multidisciplinary collaboration to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in patient care and services May operate under a dual matrixed reporting structure New Employee Orientation (NEO) provided At least one professional reference from a supervisor or above (Charge Nurse, Manager, Director, or equivalent) required for consideration; a second reference will be needed prior to start
