Job Description

The Underground Donut Tour is hiring! Do you consider yourself a Donut Aficionado? Would people describe you as a foodie? Do you love where you live and want to share it with guests? Are you looking for a job that's low stress and feels like you're hanging out with friends? If yes, then you should apply to be a Donut Tour Manager! For over 11 years we've specialized in taking guests from around the world on the Underground Donut Tour in any one of our 30+ cities across the US, Canada, Ireland, and the UK. A two hour culinary experience centered around each city's most delightful and delicious donuts, all while soaking in the sights and stories of the city.

Paid lunch when running back to back tours Free uniform for you and staff discount on all our merch Free donuts The successful applicant will possess the following qualities and skills: A love for all things donut An appetite for new experiences A bubbly personality with a positive attitude A passion for sharing knowledge of donuts, History, and fun facts about your city An excellent communicator Able to enunciate and project your voice A quick thinker able to adapt to various situations on the spot Able to walk 2 miles in two hours Able to present yourself in a well groomed manner to represent the Underground Donut Tour brand Able to work on your feet anywhere from 2+ hours at a time Adapt information to make it exciting and entertaining for all groups present Legally authorized to work in the US The Manager role has additional responsibilities including, but not limited to: Fostering a strong relationship with our Tour Partners Assessing staffing needs and ensuring the city is properly staffed to meet tour demands Interviewing and training staff Business partnerships with local hotels and other businesses in the area Scheduling staff for all tours Budgeting and ensuring your city's tour remains on budget Additional items that are preferred, but not required: You work in tourism, hospitality, theater, entertainment, comedy, or a related industry You have easy access to your own transportation or public transportation, so you can pick up tours on short notice

This role requires previous tour guide experience so please make sure to highlight any guided tours you have led in your answer. We typically run in the mornings and early afternoons, every day of the week. Have you been in Madison long enough to confidently recommend the best eats, sights, and activities to out-of-towners?
