Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting their favorite ice cream flavors and toppings, providing excellent customer service at all times Prepare and serve food items with precision, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently Upsell additional products like specialty sundaes or beverages to enhance sales and customer satisfaction Maintain cleanliness of the serving area, including cleaning scoops, counters, and equipment regularly Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change Support food handling procedures, including bussing tables and ensuring proper sanitation throughout the shift Qualifications Previous experience in food service or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Ability to manage time effectively in a quick service & fast food restaurant setting Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience with culinary tasks or kitchen experience is advantageous but not mandatory Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment Join us if you're passionate about creating delightful experiences through excellent service and delicious treats!
