Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and communicated clearly. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Manage guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing questions about menu items, and resolving any concerns promptly. Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety protocols, proper food handling procedures, and sanitation guidelines. Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas quickly, and supporting kitchen staff when needed. Demonstrate culinary knowledge when explaining menu items or ingredients to guests, especially in anupscale settings. Qualifications Previous restaurant experience or food service background is highly preferred; Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that engages guests positively. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining genuine guest interactions. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations. Culinary or kitchen experience can be beneficial for understanding food preparation processes.
