Overview Join our dynamic team as a Food Server and become the heart of an exceptional dining experience! Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly attitude. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities through effective suggestive selling techniques like OpenTable reservations or fine dining recommendations. Handle cash, process payments accurately, and manage cashiering responsibilities with integrity. Maintain sanitation standards by properly handling food, clearing tables, bussing dishes, and adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly to uphold excellent guest relations. Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; experience in fine dining or nightclubs is a plus. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking seamlessly. Basic math skills for cash handling and bill splitting; familiarity with cashiering procedures is advantageous. Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety standards essential for maintaining health regulations. Experience with reservation systems like OpenTable is beneficial for managing guest bookings efficiently. Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and restaurant revenue. Hospitality background with strong guest relations skills; previous host/hostess or serving experience preferred.
