The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, including refilling drinks and clearing tables. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for incoming guests. Handle guest inquiries with professionalism, providing excellent customer service at all times. Utilize the Aloha POS system for order tracking and communication with the kitchen staff. Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall guest experience. Skills Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both guests and team members. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus. Excellent phone etiquette for handling guest inquiries or reservations. Knowledge of hospitality standards and practices within hotel settings is beneficial. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
