Server/Cashier

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Server/Cashier, where you'll be the friendly face that creates memorable experiences for our guests! Duties Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and process payments efficiently, ensuring accurate cash handling and retail math. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques. Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols. Clear tables, bus tables, and assist in food prep or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction. Skills Proven experience in food service, quick service & fast-food restaurant environments, or retail settings such as grocery stores or cafés. Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with cashiering procedures. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or transactions efficiently during busy periods. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math tasks. Knowledge of food industry standards including food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques. Effective communication skills for serving guests, upselling menu items, and collaborating with team members.
